Ruta N- London Business School: Fortalecimiento de Emprendimientos Sociales
During the Global Immersion Field Trip (GIFT) to Medellin, each working group of 5-6 students will be
assigned to a local company and tasked with helping them to review and assess some of the strategic
opportunities and challenges currently shaping their business. In developing their analysis and
recommendations, students will be drawing on knowledge and frameworks from their Masters in
Management and Masters in Financial Analysis and Masters in Analytics and Management programmes as
well as their own professional experiences. They will supplement this with primary and secondary
research during the week and be guided by our faculty in formulating their findings and
recommendations. Their findings and recommendations will be delivered in-person on the final morning
of the GIFT and in final, written format 3 weeks after completion of the GIFT.

To help make this experience as successful as possible, we ask that our client organisations take the time
to complete this form. It has been designed to provide students with general background information on
your company and to establish the overall outline and objectives of the project. This information will be
reviewed by your project team and will serve as the basis of their research into the sector, company and
challenge question in advance of the GIFT.
The initial meeting between clients and the project team will take place on the morning of Monday 4 May
at the client site. The final meeting will be on Thursday 7 May.
