Thank you for your interest and commitment in taking the Luzerne County Ready Pledge. A partnership of our local leaders are working with the state to make sure our community is prepared and ready to move into the next phase of reopening the county and continuing our fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic. Before taking the pledge we are asking you to read the information below and fill out this brief form.


Complying With The Pledge

1. You have reviewed and will abide by the state guidelines and requirements from Governor Tom Wolf, including Governor Wolf’s Process to Reopen Pennsylvania; Governor Wolf's Yellow Phase County Guidance; Governor Wolf's Building Safety Order; and Governor Wolf's Worker Safety Order.

2. ALL open businesses must have the COVID-19 Safety Procedures Flyer signed and displayed clearly for both employees and customers to see (recommended placement in break room and by the business entrance).

3. You have reviewed and will abide by the federal health guidelines and recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration, including CDC Reopening Guidance for Cleaning and Disinfecting Public Spaces, Workplaces, Businesses, Schools, and Homes; CDC Guidelines for Communities, Schools, Workplaces, and Events​; and U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) Guidance on Preparing Workplaces for COVID-19.

The Luzerne County Ready Pledge can be posted at the entrance with an explanation of the steps being taken to keep everyone safe. It can also be featured on the business’s website, social media accounts, and other channels used to communicate with the public.

While filling out this form to take the pledge, we may ask you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information that can be used to contact you. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to, your email address ("Personal Information") We collect this information for the purpose of providing resources with the pledge, identifying and communicating with you, responding to your requests and inquires, and demonstrating Luzerne County's preparedness for moving Luzerne County to the next phase of reopening and our community's fight against the COVID-19 Pandemic.
