This information before the event will aid in organizing the tournament and speed up the check-in process. You can sign up for Queen's Champion online until Friday, January 6th.
YOU MUST STILL CHECK IN WITH THE MINISTER OF THE LIST ON THE DAY OF THE TOURNAMENT. This will just make check in go much faster.
Due to the time allotted for the event and the activities scheduled for the day, the format of the 86th Queen's Champion Tournament will be determined based on the number of fighters registered for the tournament in order to help keep the event on schedule. There will be a bow out round for those who do not wish and/or cannot commit to the responsibilities to be Queen's Champion for Sonja III. The bow out round enables every authorized rapier fighter to participate, and be seen, in the tournament without committing to the responsibilities of the 86th Queen's Champion.
The format being considered is a two phase tournament. The first phase will consist of fighter pools of round robin format to determine the top 8 or 16 fighters who will advance to the second phase of the tournament. There will not be a specified weapons format. It is up to each fighter to decide what weapons they wish to fight with as long as they are authorized in that weapon form.
