This is the entry form for the Governor's Cup Competition.

Only Maryland appellation wines (i.e., labeled "Maryland" and made from >75% locally-sourced) produced in Maryland are eligible for entry.

Please enter wines one at a time using the form below. Please ship wines and the $40/wine entry fee to Maryland Wineries Association (1783 Forest Drive, #343, Annapolis, MD 21401). PLEASE NOTE: Do NOT drop wines to this address; shipping only. This is simply a mailbox and they cannot receive drop-offs.

We have set up some regional sites for wineries to drop their wines: Mazzaroth Vineyard in Middletown; Robin Hill Farm & Vyd in Brandywine; and Boordy Vineyards in Hydes. Please contact info@marylandwine.com for any other drop-off arrangements.

Wineries submitting wines for inclusion in the Maryland Wine Festival's Wine Shop or Explorer Village are credited one entry for each wine submitted.

We will need four (4) bottles of each 750ml entry or equivalent, due to the addition of a semi-final round.

>>> AWARDS <<<
Any category with more than 3 entries (red wine, white wine, blend, port, cider, mead, sparkling, etc.) is eligible for Best in Class award.

Ciders, mead and fruit wines will be judged separately, and one in each category will win a Best in Category.

Entries are due Friday, September 2, 2022. If you are delivering wine to a regional drop site, wine must be delivered no later than Tuesday, September 6, 2022.
