Some Dreams From Now: A Conversation
In Jan 2023, we launched Some Dreams From Now: 135 Years of Rafflesian Writing, an anthology of writing from the Raffles Institution archives put together by a team of current student and alumni, to commemorate RI's 200th anniversary.

Given the positive reception to the book, we hope to take this project to a wider audience, and contribute to a larger conversation about the history of Singapore and Singapore literature. To do this, we've put together a public launch event on 22 September (Friday), 7.00pm at The POD, National Library Building - and we'd love to see you there!

We're pleased to welcome the poet and academic Prof Kirpal Singh as Guest of Honour, with other notable contributors (e.g. Ng Yi Sheng, Aaron Lee) reading their works from the anthology. The evening will also include a panel discussion with Prof Angelia Poon and other guests on the significance of this project (and the RI archives) to Singapore's wider literary and cultural history.

Please RSVP below - and join us on 22 September!
