Throughout the academic year, GSOC works to ensure new and current graduate workers are aware of the hard fought wins of our 2020-2026 contract. We want all workers to get the most out of the rights and protections we have won -- from the immigration, healthcare, and childcare funds, to extensive paid time off, health and dental insurance, and more.

Becoming involved in the union is important because when we organize our colleagues and coworkers, we stay strong from contract fight to contract fight. New organizers can collaborate with old organizers to get acclimated to NYU and our union.
