7th-8th Grade Virtual + OSSAA Application
Applications were due on July 29 for all existing MPS students, however MPS is still accepting applications.  Any applications submitted after July 29 will be placed on a waiting list.  Student placement will be determined on availability in the program.

Middle School Virtual + OSSAA (Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association) is a great option for many students, but may not be the best option for all students. It is vital to make a determination if Virtual + OSSAA will be an appropriate educational placement for your child. To be successful, a student must be independent, self-motivated, and have significant home support. We want to ensure that a student placed in a blended learning environment is successful.

Students (7th-8th grade) who are accepted into Virtual + OSSAA participate in a learning model that combines both virtual (Edgenuity) and traditional (in person) school settings for classes that fall under OSSAA (Oklahoma Secondary School Activities Association) jurisdiction, which includes, Athletics, Band, Choir, and Theatre's class Play Production. Parents must provide their own device, connectivity, and transportation.

Students that enroll in the Virtual + OSSAA program will participate in all classes virtual except for the courses; Band, Choir, Theatre's class Play Production, or after school Athletics, which will be taught at school in person. The Virtual + OSSAA is a minimum of a one semester commitment. Transportation is not provided, but will be the responsibility of the parent/guardian or student.
