How are you best supported to grow in your educational career?
The PhD Teaching Community is meant to facilitate all PhD's who are interested to learn about education and ourselves as teachers. To support you in your educational career and to facilitate engagement between PhD's from different faculties, we offer four tracks throughout your PhD trajectory at VU for which you can subscribe and unsubscribe at any moment. In this form you can tell us your preferences at this moment. If preferences change, you can resubmit your preferences. Based on all interests of PhD's (gathered from this google form), we will decide what to plan/create/facilitate/build with priority within our PhD Teaching Community and what might further be nice to develop in future with less hurry.

On the website of the PhD Teaching Community (Tab 'Curriculum') you can read all about the four tracks. To summarize these:

1. Secure base track
Biweekly check-ins where you can bring in learning questions or problems from practice, learn from and discuss each other's experiences, or otherwise work on your teaching skills.

2. Constructing expertise track
In this track you can subscribe for certain workshops or small courses with preset learning objectives, preparation assignments and 100% active participation in meetings expectation.

3. Coaching and being coached track
In this track you will form a group of peers in which you will learn to coach others and are coached by peers.

4. Innovation track
In this track, we'll form a team of educational innovators to solve problems and/or develop innovative ideas.
