Dear Parents and Conway Families,

         We are already looking forward to the next school year.  Class placement is something we take very seriously here at Conway.  We, along with teachers and specialists, spend about 4 hours per grade level to hand select every child’s teacher.  Each child is considered individually in order to make the best placement possible.  We utilize parental input as we go through this process, because we consider you to be a valuable member of our team.  Parents who wish to share information regarding their child’s placement may fill out this form by May 30th.  (Forms received later than this date may arrive too late to be considered for placement unless you move to Conway after this date.)
In order to maintain the integrity of our county’s policy of heterogeneous grouping, we will not honor requests for individual teachers by name.  However, you may request the teaching style that you feel would work best for your child.  If you do not want a specific teacher (no more than two), please write that in the additional information section below.  We will make all attempts to utilize your input for placement but cannot promise we can honor every request as there are many variables to consider when placing our children.  
  Thanks for taking the time to fill out this form and to helping us make the best placement decision for your kiddo next year.  As always, we always offer parents the time to sit down over the summer to talk through this.  We work all summer and are most willing to sit down and talk about any plans you wish to discuss for next year.
