The event includes a full day closure of Telegraph Ave from 40th-51st St. Similar to last year's Picnic on Telegraph in October 2021, this event will allow for expanded outdoor seating, retail, fitness classes, dance performances, and more in the street. We are expanding marketing this year, and encouraging the whole East Bay community to attend to spend the afternoon/evening walking, shopping, and dining out on the street. We are encouraging Temescal businesses to participate with sidewalk sales, expanded outdoor dining, hosting live music, special events, and even just staying open later than normal. This will allow folks to explore all of Temescal open businesses - both old favorites and new arrivals, and encourage the community to support and patronize Temescal businesses! Participation by Temescal BID businesses is free!
