Dear Alumni + current Pitt students who live off-campus,

As of March 11th, Pitt announced that students, if possible, should move out of their dorms as soon as possible (between March 12 – March 20). Currently, there is a great deal of confusion as to how this will work.  Students are unsure about how they will afford transportation home and coordinate storing their belongings.  

If you are able to host a student for a short duration until they are able to return home, are able to give them a ride somewhere (storage facility, airport/bus station, carpool home), are able to store some students' belongings for the rest of the spring semester and/or through the summer (until late August / early September), we would greatly appreciate the help in this difficult and confusing time.
