Melissa ISD Background Check Request  

Melissa ISD is required by Chapter 22, Subchapter C, of the Texas Education Code (TEC) to review the criminal history of applicants, employees, independent contractors, student teachers, and certain volunteers. The information requested is necessary to obtain criminal history record information.

Questions regarding the background check process can be directed to the Melissa ISD Human Resources department at 972-837-2411.

NOTE: The background check is valid district-wide for one school year. If you have children at multiple campuses, you DO NOT need to fill out a background check for each campus.

El Capítulo 22, Subcapítulo C, del Código de Educación de Texas (TEC) exige que Melissa ISD revise los antecedentes penales de los solicitantes, empleados, contratistas independientes, estudiantes de maestros y ciertos voluntarios. La información solicitada es necesaria para obtener información del registro de antecedentes penales.

Las preguntas sobre el proceso de verificación de antecedentes pueden dirigirse al departamento de Recursos Humanos de Melissa ISD al 972-837-2411.

NOTA: La verificación de antecedentes es válida en todo el distrito durante un año escolar. Si tiene hijos en varios campus, NO es necesario que complete una verificación de antecedentes para cada campus.
