The Ministry Board Commitment is no small ask. Monthly meetings either in-person or via zoom call are absolute, but it's not uncommon for the Board to meet twice a month depending on the varying needs of the school and staff. In addition, committee meetings occur monthly that are led by a standing board member. Your attendance is also highly encouraged at campus events (family cookouts, fireside chats, state of the school, & various other functions). Is this commitment realistic for you, your job, and your family? *
Confidentiality is something we take very seriously. More often than not, the Board deals with highly personal and very sensitive information involving school business, staff relations, and family circumstances. We have a zero tolerance policy for "leaks" or breeches of the Confidentiality Agreement. Given the foundation and Biblical principles of our school, we do not encourage "keeping secrets" between spouses - especially if you're experiencing burden. Much of what we do incorporates prayer and petition, and we understand the need to be able to communicate with your spouse and value the power of a praying couple. Therefore, we've instituted the Spousal Confidentiality Agreement as well. Are these Agreements you feel you and your spouse would be able to comfortably honor in your role as a Board Member? *
