This scholarship is only open to current Louisiana HOSA Members who are graduating seniors.

This scholarship was created in memory of Mrs. Shirley Solis, mother of State Advisor Shirlene Bender and her 3 siblings. Mrs. Solis was a friend to HOSA, was always helpful behind the scenes, and attended most events to help out. In her honor, please fill out this application.

Grant recipients are not necessarily the top GPA ranking students, but students who have a strong desire for a career in healthcare and are willing to work for it.
