The MLA/DLA Annual Conference is now accepting proposals for the poster session. This year the poster session will be a hybrid event, allowing for those who can not attend the conference in person to participate. Because of this, all posters MUST have a digital version submitted, regardless if the presenter will be showing the poster in person at the conference. A high quality photograph of a hand made poster is acceptable, but the preference for the committee is for these submissions to be born digital. Submissions will be made as PNG or PDF documents.
The deadline for proposal submissions is 4:00 PM on Friday, March 22. Accepted posters will be notified April 5th. Digital posters must be submitted by April 30th.
At the conference, posters will be on display from 8:00 AM -- 4:00 PM on Thursday, May 9th and Friday May 10th. MLA/DLA will provide tables. Presenters need to bring their own hanging or support structures for their posters. Virtual posters will be on display at this time as well, in the same room.
If presenting your poster in person, you are asked to be present for questions and answers with your poster on Thursday May 9th from 1:30pm - 2:30pm, and Friday May 10th, 10:45am - 11:45am. Please mark on your proposal whether you plan on attending one or both of these in person sessions.
