Man vs. Machine (Performance Program / Wednesdays 5:30PM - 8:00PM): Gadgets and gizmos, oh my! For Wednesdays, Baptiste has been planning an adventurous season ahead, featuring instruments and devices like guitar / bass pedals, the talkbox, a vocal processor, a vocoder, a drum machine, sample pads, and a small in-progress eurorack. Students will be able to learn these devices inside and out! Bands in rotation will be those who have primarily and commonly used these devices in live shows, such as New Order, Depeche Mode, Jeff Beck, Tame Impala, Daft Punk, Bon Iver, Peter Frampton, Death Grips, and pioneers like Kraftwerk!
Rock 101 (Thursdays 4:30PM - 6:00PM) - Get an awesome experience for what it's like to join a band, build your foundation in music, stage presence and rock 'n' roll!
Beatles & Beyond (Performance Program / Saturdays 10:00AM - 12:30PM): We all know and recognize The Beatles, but are we familiar with each individual’s catalogue post break-up? On Saturdays, Beatles & Beyond will take a trip down memory lane for students to play their biggest hits, both as a band, and as solo projects. Alan Pearson has a wonderful list of songs lined up for this show, and we are excited to see you rock out to this collection of magic from all four members.
Grateful Dead vs. Allman Brothers Band (Performance Program / Saturdays 1:00PM - 3:30PM): Join Alan for his Saturday extravaganza of rehearsals, featuring the wonderful improvisations from the Dead’s Jerry Garcia, along with beautiful guitar harmonies from Duane Allman and Dickey Betts. Their catalogues are revered, and the two bands have a deep connected history through guest appearances. Lots of jamming, with sophisticated writing. Alan is prepared to give every rocker a lovely experience. Lots of fun!
