Equity in Lactation Education Scholarship

Please read before filling out the form: This scholarship is to be used for lactation professional training and lactation training materials (including CEUs, IBCLC, CLC, etc). It is open to Maine residents. The goal of this scholarship is to diversify the lactation professional field in Maine. As such, priority is given to individuals who identify as being part of a marginalized community (Black, Indigenous, people of color, LGBTQIA2S+, disabled/neurodivergent, financially disadvantaged). Once you have completed the education or training, we ask that you provide a brief explanation of the course and what you learned. Please note that due to funding this scholarship is not meant to cover everything needed for a training. This program is in development and scholarship money recipients are given depends on how many applicants and how much funding there is available at the time.

If filling out this application is a barrier to applying, please reach out to Petrichor Kneeland-Campbell, President and DEI Committee Chair of MSBC, at p.kneelandcampbell@gmail.com, to discuss other options.
