Painting Rx Application | July/August 2021
Oriented from the intersection of relaxation, curiosity, and communication. 

Painting Rx is a group open for those with an established painting practice who are looking for a space to deepen in what it how we understand what we do, what it does, achieves, fulfills, when we communicate about painting, communicate through painting.  

It is a group for painters or artists with an existing practice seeking community and conversation at the edge of their practice. It offers space to share work weekly and engage intentionally in the oral and verbal component of a painting practice. It is an opportunity to deepen in what we know we know through community and facilitated

Due to the fact I don’t know who will show interest in this offering and from what timezone they might beam in, I am offering a loose structure of time availability and would love to hear if it works for you or not.


Time Proposal: Painting Rx will meet once a week for 2 hours
Tuesday Mornings, 8-10am US Pacific Time, July & August 2021 with a one week break  (8 Meetings).
July 8th, 15th, no meeting the 22nd-  29th, August 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th.  All meetings take place via ZOOM.

Applications will close June 26th.
Participants will be notified by June 28th.

Why do you want to participate in this group? *
For Painting Rx, I am seeking a small group of painters who are interested to explore what it means to talk about their work verbally and in words from a place resourced relaxation in community, and can ideally commit to attending each session. Is this you? *
