Heritage 2023 Camp Out at Wilson's Mills
Pastors Larry Hunt and Irvin Ambrose (Wilson's Mills COG and Lighthouse Tabernacle) have partnered together to form Heritage Youth Camp, which will debut in the Summer of 2024.

To begin establishing fellowship, we will be hosting a weekend camp out June 30th - July 1st, 2023 at the Wilson's Mills Church of God.  This will be an opportunity for those interested in the 2024 youth camp to begin fellowship.  Please read the important information and details below.

Ages: 9 and up**
**Any child under the age of 9, must be accompanied by a parent/guardian.

Registration Deadline: June 1st, 2023
Registration Fee: $25.00** The registration fee must be paid at check-in at the camp out.

Rules and General Information
We want everyone to have an enjoyable time; however, there are standards we expect to be maintained at all times by all campers, leaders, and workers.  While we all come from different backgrounds and are all at different levels of growth in our Christian walk, it is important to know that the purpose and intent of Heritage is Holiness.

Everyone is welcome to attend.

Group leaders must be saved, sanctified, and filled with the Holy Ghost.  General workers must be at a minimum saved and sanctified or actively pursuing a sanctified lifestyle.  Whether a leader or worker, each individuals should strive to live and maintain a lifestyle of Holiness.

Campers are not allowed to have cellphones or any electronic devices during the camp out.

Clothing worn by leaders, workers, and campers must be modest.  Clothing that is revealing or shows shoulders or legs above the knee are inappropriate.  Attendees will be asked to change into appropriate attire if his or her clothes are deemed by the Camp Director(s) and/or their authorized representatives to be inappropriate.

Males must wear pants and a shirt with sleeves at all times while outside of their designated sleeping area.  No tank tops, plain white t-shirts, or sleeveless or muscle shirts.  Pants may not fall below the waist.

Females must wear skirts or dresses below the knee and a shirt with sleeves at all times while outside of their designated sleeping area.  No sleeveless shirts or tank tops.

Inappropriate items include spaghetti straps, mid-riff or belly shirts, backless and/or strapless tops, shorts, mini-skirts, clothing with obscene gestures or slogans, jewelry, makeup.

The Camp Director(s) and/or their authorized representatives reserve the right to modify these rules at any time with or without notice.

All attended must bring the following items:
  • Bedding: Pillow, blanket and/or sleeping bag
  • Clothes (Males): pants/jeans, belt, shirts, underclothes, socks, shoes, flip-flops (if desired), church attire (casual or dress).
  • Clothes (Females): Skirts/dresses, shirts, underclothes, socks, shoes, flip-flops (if desired), church attire (casual or dress).  
  • Toiletries: Soap/body wash, shampoo, towel, washcloth, personal hygiene wipes, deodorant, comb/brush, toothbrush, toothpaste, sunscreen, insect repellent. Restrooms and showers will be available. It is still recommended that attendees bring personal hygiene wipes (flushable wipes, baby wipes, etc.) to maintain cleanliness as needed at the camp sites.
  • Other Items: Bible, laundry bag, flashlight, medication(s), tent.
