Literature & Archives: Resource-building Campaign
As part of International Archives Week 2021 (www.milli.link/iaw2021), Milli, a consortium of individuals and communities interested in the nurturing of archives, is creating an online resource with a list of literary works that engage with archives.

What are your favourite works of fiction and poetry that refer to/feature archives, or help us reimagine, question, or simply wonder about archives and archiving? Help us build this resource by telling us about it!

We are looking for:
- Creative literary works that deal with archives and archiving in their very subject matter (even if not in a literal or obvious sense), rather than works that are only based on historical research.
- Works in any genre, any form, whether it is a short story, poem, graphic novel, and so on, published in print or online.
- Works in various languages and from different countries, especially from South Asia.

if you'd like to look at some examples, check here: https://www.milli.link/literature/

What is the name of the work, and who is the author? Please use commas to separate multiple entries. Example: The Left Hand of Darkness - Ursula Le Guin, Teresa - Nisha Susan *
What form(s) do the works take (novel, short story, poem, graphic novel, etc)?
What language(s) are these works in?
In what way does this work feature, or help us think about/question archives and archiving? *
Do your recommendations include work published on an online platform? If so, please provide links where possible
Please provide your email id (this will only be used to share updates and get in touch in case we require clarifications regarding your recommendations)
We would like to acknowledge your contribution to this online resource. Please share your name with us so we can do so
