We are so excited to once again be honoring Jake (aka Jakey, Jakeman!) This year, we will once again walk, run, dance, sing, cycle, horseback ride, scuba, etc. for 3 minutes and 22 seconds or 3.22 miles in honor of Jake (his birthday is March 22nd; 3.22). And, if Jake had his way, we are doing this in costume in honor of his favorite holiday -- HALLOWEEN!!!
This year your efforts to honor Jake will be put towards supporting other families who have children with CDG. The CDG CARE Emmett Legacy Fund is a program offered each Spring by CDG CARE and it supplies equipment to CDG children and families around the world. The fund was created and is supported by Ann & Steve Nguyen, whose son, Emmett, passed away from CDG in 2018. The Nguyen family provides the majority of funding for the program and CDG CARE uses donations and dedicated funds from families/fundraisers to support the rest.
Thank you for donating whatever you and your family are able to this year. Thank you for your support, love, and spirit that you are bringing to honoring Jake and ensuring ALL children with CDG have access to the supplies and equipment they and their families need.
