The information will be kept safe in the Gear Industries database which is controlled by the Gear Industries information Officer. The entry requirement to attend is:

• ID
• Proof of payment
• Communication Grade 10 or 11
• Mathematical Literacy at Grade 10 or 11
• Please confirm with the training center

You are to make use of the course material provided to you during the workshops. Course notes and materials are not to be sold, loaned, copied, or used in any way outside of the pursuit of studies by the person who is enrolled in the course; unless permission is sought and granted in writing by Gear Industries & Intra Safe. All course material remains the copyright and intellectual property of Gear Industries & Intra Safe.

It is important for the learner to understand that this course is a legal compliance course, and not SETA accredited. After completion of this course, the learner will receive a certificate of attendance/completion with the value of 2 to 5 SAIOSH CPD points.

Gear Industries’ refund policy is fair and equitable. Notification of withdrawal from the course must be received in writing within 4 days of enrollment, in order to qualify for a full refund. No refund is available if withdrawal is sought after course commencement (i.e., course materials have been sent to the learner), and the total course cost or the amount owing will be charged. Enrollment date is the date which the application for enrollment is received and accepted by Gear Industries’ office. Refunds will also be given in cases where there are less than 5 bookings for the course.

Every attempt is made to ensure all information from Gear Industries is accurate, and that the learner has met the outcome of the course, at the point of their assessment. Beyond this point, the learner is responsible to maintain their knowledge, and apply the acquired knowledge and skills in a way that is appropriate to the unique characteristics of each application. 

This will release the training provider from any liability, action and claims of whatsoever nature in connection with, or arising from any such information instruction or advice, given by any learner or ex-learner, whether directions given during the course are followed or not.
