Hi, good to have you here – and thanks for being interested in supporting MW:M21!
This conference is going to be a hybrid (physical in Berlin, Kulturbrauerei + digital) event due to Covid-19. We have plenty of possibilities to be part of the event crew and to experience the whole journey: from setting up, being part of the on-site or online crew, and finally dismantling everything again.
Before you decide to apply, please read the following:
· The MW:M Conference will be split into three parts, where you can take part as a volunteer:
the listen to berlin:awards (26th Oct), the MW:M Convention (27th Oct) & the decentralised
MW:M partner satellites (28th Oct).
· Additionally we plan on having 1 set up day (26th) & 1,5 dismantling days (27th
in the evening & 28th) where we will also need support.
· Each volunteer will work two shifts of 4-6 hours – these shifts can either be on the same
day, or on different days.
· When you are not working, you will have free access to the whole event space (on-site
and/or online) and will be able to enjoy the program. This is actually quite cool – you’ll be
one of a limited number of people who will have full access to the physical part of the
conference.
· There will be an onboarding meeting for everyone 1-3 the weeks before the conference,
which you must attend (it might be virtual or in-person).
· There will be an in-person walk-through during the set up days which you also must attend
to know the area you are responsible for.
· Because of the current circumstances, we will have a Corona concept - probably including
testing & regulations.
· If you are coming from abroad, unfortunately we can not cover your accommodation and
travel costs.
