This coalition is made of passionate individuals from many different business sectors and parts of the community. It includes representatives from ADRC, Green Bay Police Department, hospitals, assisted livings, supportive care agencies, Brown County Parks, and many more!

Meets 1st Thursday of each month 3:00pm – 4:30pm

Mission: We raise awareness, develop cooperative partnerships, educate, and engage all to create a dementia-friendly community that enhances the quliaty of life. By transforming the community, we promote inclusion, reduce stigma, and instill hope.

We will use this form as a way to keep a contact record of those who are a part of a current subcommittee and for those who would like to join a subcommittee. Responses and contact info can be changed after being submitted.

Main coalition meetings: The Brown County Dementia Friendly Community Coalition meets on the first Thursday of the month from 3-4:30pm. You may participate in the main coalition, subcommittees, or any combination. We look forward to having you join us!

Memory Café subcommittee: Memory cafes provide a fun, comfortable environment where people with dementia and their loved ones can relax, engage, and enjoy the company of others on the same journey.

Community Education subcommittee: Helping to fill the gaps in dementia education by promoting and providing education to community members and professionals.

Purple Angel/Dementia Friends subcommittee: Purple Angel and Dementia Friends provide training and education about dementia to businesses/organizations and schools/neighborhoods (respectively) at no cost to them.
