Dictatorial Orders in Europe after 1945 as a topic of
Historic Civic Education & International Youth Work
Lisbon, Portugal | 24th - 29th of April 2023
The event is aimed at closing the project circle within the overall project “Venues of victims // Venues of
perpetrators”. Therefore four main program elements (“pillars”) are foreseen:
- Focusing on remembrance
culture in Portugal (history, legacy, remembrance, implications of Salazar
dictatorship)
- Abstracting results and challenges of this year´s
project edition and transforming them into prolific
discourses (risks, limits, potentials)
- Giving space to
participants and project partners in promoting relevant themes/
topics/ discourses
- Creating a framework for networking and development of follow-up proposals & further
project ideas
The event in
Lisbon is open for representatives of the project partners, former participants
of the project edition, future networking partners and an interested audience from
the field of civic-education, youth work and academia from Portugal as well as the countries
of the partner consortium (Croatia, Greece, Germany, Lithuania, Portugal, Slovenia, Spain).
Optional:
Applicants are invited to share their proposals for "Open Spaces" (evening activities, currently planned for 2nd, 3rd and 4th day) as well as the session "How to deal with controversial topics in the field
of civic education and youth work?
Offers by participants
& project partners (lectures, workshops, open space sessions - open event)", planned for the 3rd day. Please indicate title and short description in the form below.
