This is an application to be considered for a spot on the Point One Vision SERVE mission team to serve the
Keala Foundation and
Old Koloa Regenerative Farm in Kauai, Hawaii on April 20-27, 2024. The Keala Foundation is a 501c3 nonprofit organization that serves communities of Kauai by building programs that empower youth against a culture of drug abuse and one of the nations highest rates of suicide and the Old Koloa Regenerative Farm is restoring agricultural land to restore healthy and sustainable options for locals.
This SERVE team will be aiding in Keala's quarterly student assessment in its three on-island location that evaluate the physical, emotional and cognitive efficacy of their program. The team will also be getting their hands dirty at the Old Koloa Regenerative Farm in their seasonal work. There will be a variety of other TBD activities that incorporate the team into the threads of this Kauai community.
Accepted applicants will be responsible for their own airfare. There is a $500 registration fee that will include housing and local transportation, as well as shared meals. A $200 non-refundable deposit will be required if or when your application is approved (instructions will be provided); the remaining balance will be due on April 5, 2024. Fundraising support will be offered to those that need it.
