About the book:
"The Refugees, is a collection of perfectly formed stories written over a period of twenty years, exploring questions of immigration, identity, love, and family." (https://vietnguyen.info/2016/the-refugees)

UCI Humanities Center is holding a special virtual event on February 3rd with Nguyen,  supporting their year-long theme, “For a more perfect union?” which contributes to campus-wide discussions of wisdom in the world. Co-sponsored by Illuminations, Advisory Council on Campus Climate, Culture and Inclusion, Office of Inclusive Excellence, and UCI’s Southeast Asian Archive.
