The Office of Student Activities is seeking nominations for the Volunteer of the Year Award. Nominees for this award should actively work to make a significant difference in the surrounding and/or UCM community. This award will be presented at the Student Leadership Reception, Wednesday, April 14, 2021. The following criteria have been established for this award, and nominations are welcomed from students, faculty and staff of the University of Central Missouri.
ELIGIBILITY:
Currently enrolled University of Central Missouri students who have a past history of volunteer work may be nominated. Students must have carried at least six credits during both the fall and spring semesters, have a minimum grade point average of 2.25, and currently be in good academic standing. Any member of the University community may nominate individuals for this award. In case of a tie, the nominee with the higher GPA will be selected.
CRITERIA:
The criteria for selection will be for exemplary volunteer service and for someone who demonstrates a spirit of volunteerism and community service.
NOMINATION PROCEDURES:
1. Nominations should be submitted on the attached form. All of the information requested must be supplied.
2. Nominations deadline is 5:00 p.m. on Friday, April 2, 2021.
3. Persons nominated will be notified prior to the Leadership Reception.
4. The recipient will be announced at the Leadership Reception.
