Hello Alumni Jazzers,

At the University of Minnesota Morris, the safety of our community and our visitors is our top priority. Minnesota Governor Tim Walz and the Minnesota Department of Health have recommended cancelling or postponing events where:
 
Attendees number more than 250 people;
Fewer than 250 people gather and the venue space does not allow for social distancing of six feet; and
Groups of 10 people or more attend, where the majority of participants are at higher risk for severe illness from COVID-19.
 
We are following this recommendation, effective immediately and until further notice. This action means all major venues at the University of Minnesota, systemwide, will be closed to the public.
 
To that end, the decision has been made to cancel Jazz Fest.  If you have questions, please call Alumni Relations at 320-589-6066.
