Overview of the Site Organizational Team:
The voting members of the Bertha Ronzone School Organizational Team (SOT) must be elected and will be comprised of 2 teachers, 1 support staff personnel, and 3 parents. The non-voting members are the principal and any community members who may volunteer to be part of the SOT
.
The members of the team will serve through September 30, 2022. The team will meet one time per month, excluding July, and all members must commit to attend each meeting. Members are not compensated for their service.
The members of the team are charged with advising and assisting the principal in making decisions and building consensus in support of the vision of the school. All decisions made must be via a quorum (majority vote). Members are also charged with the “do no harm” clause, in which decisions made by the team must not negatively affect individuals or groups within the school community.

NOMINATIONS:
If you are interested in serving on the Ronzone SOT, or would like to nominate another parent, please complete the following survey between Friday, September 10, 2021, and Friday, September 17, 2021.

ELECTIONS:
Elections for parents wishing to serve on the SOT will take place via Google Form accessed on our website beginning at 8:00 am on Monday, September 20, 2021, through 3:30 pm on Friday, September 24, 2021. Elected parent representatives will be announced via Parent Link and our website.

*Only candidates with complete nominations will be considered for election.

Los miembros votantes del Equipo Organizador de la Escuela Bertha Ronzone (SOT) deben ser elegidos y estarán compuestos por 2 maestros, 1 personal de apoyo y 3 padres. Los miembros sin derecho a voto son la directora y cualquier miembro de la comunidad que pueda ofrecerse como voluntario para formar parte del SOT por sus siglas en ingles.

Los miembros del equipo servirán hasta el 30 de septiembre de 2022. El equipo se reunirá una vez al mes, excepto julio, y todos los miembros deben comprometerse a asistir a cada reunión. Los miembros no reciben compensación por su servicio.
Los miembros del equipo están encargados de asesorar y ayudar a la directora en la toma de decisiones y la construcción de consenso en apoyo de la visión de la escuela. Todas las decisiones que se tomen deben ser por quórum (mayoría de votos). Los miembros también están acusados de la cláusula de "no hacer daño", en la que las decisiones tomadas por el equipo no deben afectar negativamente a individuos o grupos dentro de la comunidad escolar.

Si está interesado en participar en el Ronzone SOT o desea nominar a otro padre, complete la siguiente encuesta entre el viernes 10 de septiembre de 2021 y el viernes 17 de septiembre de 2021.

ELECCIONES:
Las elecciones para los padres que deseen participar en el SOT se llevarán a cabo a través del formulario de Google al que se accede en nuestro sitio web a partir de las 8:00 am del lunes 20 de septiembre de 2021 hasta las 3:30 pm del viernes 24 de septiembre de 2021. Los representantes de los padres elegidos se anunciará a través de Parent Link y nuestro sitio web.
