Brandeis University Master's Project Research Poll: Data Silo Challenges in Large Companies in the United States

THIS SURVEY SHOULD TAKE YOU ROUGHLY THREE TO FIVE MINUTES

PROBLEM STATEMENT: In large companies, both for-profit and non-profit, in the United States, different projects or units may have varying funding sources and requirements for reporting, security, and collection. As a result, there is very little cross-pollination between business units resulting in limited strategic insight generation capacity at the organizational level. Implementation of an overarching data warehousing/governance platform may be impossible if leadership maintains a focus on ROI and thus cannot see the long-term value of implementing strategic analytics on the insights that can only be found by gaining control over organizational data. This survey will inform a qualitative research study aimed at identifying the current climate within large organizations. Your answers will be private and cannot be seen by any other respondents. Thank you for participating.
