Welcome to COVE's 2020-2021 College Access Workshop Series!

We are proud to offer the first of our 5-workshop series to all students and families at COVE and beyond! Below you will find a description of our first workshop, "Intro to College Admissions," as well as recommendations for the groups each specific workshop will be especially helpful for.

Even if you do not identify as one of the specific groups listed please feel free to join in on any or all of our workshops! We are excited to share our knowledge with as many students and families that may benefit - we're big on access!

Workshop 1: The College Landscape
Monday December 14th at 7-8:30pm EST

Come learn about the Basics and Not-so-Basics of College Admissions with COVE! In our first session we will discuss college and financial aid options, offering a broad overview of different degree programs, application processes, fee waivers, and scholarship programs. This session has a special focus on the CUNY and SUNY systems and college access opportunity programs (EOP/HEOP and SEEK) available to students in New York State.

Useful for: High School Students, especially Freshmen, Sophomores, Juniors, and their Families; First Generation, Low Income (FGLI) Students; Non-Traditional Students
