About the opportunity: For this year's Catalyst Leadership Program, we will select applicants to join us on a trip to the Netroots Nation Leadership Conference: https://www.netrootsnation.org/

Since 2006, Netroots Nation has hosted the largest annual conference for progressives, and it is PACKED with leadership development training from a wide range of experienced trainers.  

The conference is held in Pittsburgh, PA, from August 18-20. Participants will need to reserve time in their calendars for August 17 - 21. Rights & Democracy Institute will support with tickets, travel and lodging for this life-changing experience. There are limited spaces available.

Applicants chosen will also be expected to complete tasks before, during and after the conference. More information will be provided for the participants once they are selected.

About the Catalyst Leadership program: Launched at the end of 2020, Catalyst Leadership was created to develop and support a new generation of policy makers from the most impacted communities across New Hampshire and Vermont, who are committed to a bold agenda for economic, racial and climate justice.

Who is eligible to apply: This opportunity is open to Vermont womyn and people who identify as womyn. Youth 16-18 and youth enrolled in community college are also encouraged to apply. Parental permission for those under 18 will be necessary. We are looking for an intersection of womyn from all walks of life who are interested in becoming leaders in their communities, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+ and people with disabilities.

Our Process: Rights & Democracy’s Catalyst Program process begins with this questionnaire. There will also be a video submission required in this application process. Upon receiving a candidate’s completed questionnaire, the team will determine if the candidate would be a good fit for this program.
