Commencement 2021 will be celebrating the graduates from AY 2019/2020 and AY 2020/21 in limited in-person ceremonies. There will be a combined ceremony for all Colleges on Friday, May 14 at 4pm and three college ceremonies on Saturday, May 15. They will be held RAIN or SHINE.

Staff are invited to work at Commencement as support staff, or participate in regalia and sit with faculty on the field.

Staff who are working are asked to make arrangements with their supervisor prior to filling out the interest form, and will be accepted on a first come-first served basis. President Jackson has approved CTO, schedule adjustments, or overtime for those willing to work at the Commencement ceremonies. Food is provided for support staff working the event.

Staff who are participating in regalia are asked to make arrangements with their supervisor prior to filling out the interest form. There will be up to 100 available seats per ceremony for faculty and staff participating in regalia. Seating will be located by the front of the stage and chairs placed 6 ft. apart in order to maintain distancing and meet safety requirements. Information on how to order regalia (if needed) will be sent to those staff who are interested.

The ceremonies will be livestreamed so that families, friends, and the campus community can watch and celebrate.
