Open Call for Interest Group Moderators and Core Team Members
Dear AEGEEans,

We are happy to announce the open call for Interest Group moderators and core team members. Please note, this open call simultaneously aa an indicator to see whether all Interest Groups are still viable in AEGEE, or whether some are no longer topics of interest and should be deleted.

An interest group is a group of AEGEE members that share a common interest, and organises thematic activities or supports activities of other bodies of AEGEE in regard to a certain interest or thematic field (for example international politics, language or intercultural exchange).

You can join an Interest Group as moderator or as a core team member.

What are the tasks of a moderator?
• moderating the communication channels for the Interest Groups (e.g. Telegram and Facebook groups);
• start projects and workshops related to the IG topic;
• initiate collaborations with other European Bodies or Locals etc.

As a moderator, it is you who decides how the Interest Group will work! Each interest Group can have up to two moderators per Interest Group that are appointed by the Comité Directeur.

Every 1-2 months, all Interest Group moderators come together and talk about the current state of the Interest Group and share best practices. Being a moderator, you also get support from the appointed Comité Directeur member(s) and get shared cool opportunities from externals related to your IG topic.

As a core team member you will help with the implementation and creation of ideas and projects.
