Normally we’d be on the road, travelling from country to country and conference to conference in order to highlight the best indie talent the world has to offer. Obviously that is sadly not possible at the moment, however that’s not going to stop us from showcasing the best indie talent in the world.

No not at all, and thanks to an amazing launch of the Digital Big Indie Pitch at the first ever all digital Pocket Gamer Connects Digital #1, we decided to let The Big Indie Pitch step out on it’s own as it normally would in order to continue its mission.

Pocket Gamer Connects Digital is back! Following the success of our first ever digital conference and pitches, we thought, why not do it all over again. Oh and of course, that means that The Big Indie Pitch is back too.

An all-digital Big Indie Pitch, then! It offers shortlisted developers a chance to impress some of the best experts the industry has to offer (including journalists publishers, investors, and notable indies), answer questions and gather expert insight on their game. Without leaving your home or office…

Our unique speed dating format gives each developer 5-6 minutes with each table of expert judges, meaning entrants will get real feedback from the event. The winners will also be covered across Steel Media's network of website (such as Pocket Gamer and PC Games Insider), making this a great chance to get your game up in lights.

The closing date for entries is Monday 11th May 2020.

The basic criteria:

You can pitch games for Mobile, VR, AR
You can pitch your game even if you’ve pitched it at a previous BIP
We prefer to see unreleased games, though we’re happy to see games that have been released in the last 6 months, or recently updated.

All submissions will be notified if they are successful in their application to pitch at the event. Please note that all entrants must be able to attend the event and Steel Media will not cover cover costs associated with getting to the event.
