Here at Perthshire Pride we have a job for everyone!

We are all unpaid volunteers and have differing amounts of time we can contibute to the charity, so please dont worry if its only a small amount of time you can give!

We have 2 Options of Volunteers:

*Event Volunteers* -  help to deliver a variety of different jobs at Perthshire Pride's annual event from preparation of the event and running the activities. It’s about offering something fun and memorable for the community and encouraging them to return and be confident as a member of the LGBT+ communtiy in Perthshire.


*Board Member* - This requires a little bit more of a time commitment than the event volunteers however, it is an integral part of making the charity what it is! Being a Board Member means that you meet roughly once a month for 2 hours max to help keep the charity on task, plan the event and other LGBT+ projects. During the last 4-6 months of the run up to our annual event there may be a few more meetings planned to ensure everything runs smoothly. These meetings are a chance to catch up socially and get the ideas in motion for what we want our charity to be. This type of volunteer requires a can-do attitude as we aren't just an idea board, we are a working board. We like to get stuff done. You require no previous experience at all to join our board as we know you will have something to give!

The Board Member position also includes being added to a Work and Social WhatsApp Group where we can have correspondence in between the monthly meetings. Please note, we understand you will not manage to attend every month due to prior commitments so Meeting Minutes will be available for you to catch up.

We are looking for enthusiastic people who can help out in the roles described above.
We will aim to match people to their desired role. By filling these roles, we can build a diverse team and create a fantastic event through your support.

Time Commitments
There will be a time commitment required, this includes a commitment to attend mandatory Health and Safety training and a team briefing before the annual event and most importantly you should be free to volunteer on the day of Perthshire Pride which is normally the first or second weekend in August (we will give you an offical date asap).

Please note all board members work full time jobs and mostly meet/communicate outwith 9am-5pm hours
