I agree to check-out a school-owned technology device from the Chisago Lakes School District for at-home learning. As a part of our Bring-Your-Own-Device program, students in grades 8-12 should have their own device. Families experiencing financial hardship can work with their student’s school counselor to explore options available to provide their student an educational device to use in the short or long term .

School-owned devices filter the Internet at a basic level, regardless of their location or wireless network, to provide students a safe online environment. Parents are encouraged to be active participants in their child’s learning. We expect students to be using their school-provided @isd2144.org account and encourage parents to talk with their child about access to their login information. I understand that I need to report any problems or damage to your child's teacher.

Students are responsible for negligent damages outside of normal, average everyday use. Common Chromebook repair costs are $20 for a charger, $60 for a screen and $265 for a full replacement. Other damages will be billed to families at cost.

I agree to return the device and charger to school at the end of the school year or earlier if they unenroll from Chisago Lakes School District, Wildcat Academy. Additional details will be communicated to families regarding device return closer to the end the school year.
