Every week, grades 4-6 students join a Let's Talk Science host and guest volunteer online, as we guide them through a hands-on STEM activity. Students learn more about the STEM concepts behind the activity and meet a role model who studies or works in a related STEM field. This form allows Canadian schools serving economically and/or geographically challenged areas, to request a box containing all the consumable materials and printed materials to complete 4 consecutive weekly activities, at no cost to them. Other schools are encouraged to register for STEM club activities by registering for specific activities at
https://letstalkscience.ca/events/join-lets-talk-science-stem-club and sourcing/printing their own materials - a list will be provided in advance.
STEM Club will be held weekly from April 27th to June 16th. Each session will run for 40-60 minutes in length.
