First Unitarian Society, Save the Farm, and partners present the April First Friday Film: "Growing Cities"

"Growing Cities" is a documentary film that examines the role of urban farming in America and asks how much power it has to change the way we eat. In their search for answers, Dan and Andrew take a road trip and meet the men and women who are challenging the way this country distributes its food. (running time: 92 minutes)

*** REGISTRATION FOR FILM AND DISCUSSION WILL CLOSE on Friday, April 2 at 5:00 PM and by 5:15 PM an email with a links to the film and the after-film discussion will be sent to the email that you list below.
*** Please only watch the film on one device. Using the link on a second device will count as 2 viewings and we are limited to 300 viewings. (After 300 people register, this event will be "sold-out.")
*** The film link will expire on April 6th.

The after-film discussion will be led by local proponents of urban farming, food justice, and leaders of the "Save the Farm" project which hopes to create an urban farm that is connected to an anti-racist, economically just, net-carbon-neutral living community.
