For over 15 years, our student-led conference has been an event of diversity and open dialogue. Harassment of any kind, including offensive verbal or written comments or actions related to gender, gender identity and expression, age, sexual orientation, disability, physical appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, religion, sexual images in public spaces, deliberate intimidation, stalking, following, harassing photography or recording, sustained disruption of talks or other events, inappropriate physical contact, and unwelcome sexual attention or otherwise are not tolerated and will follow immediate action by the GAC 2023 Team.
If you are being harassed, notice that someone else is being harassed, or have any other concerns, please contact a member of the conference staff immediately, either directly or by emailing us at
info@germanamericanconference.org. Conference staff can be identified in-person by their GAC t-shirts virtually by the addition of “(GAC Team)” after their Zoom name and video background if applicable.
