State agencies in Utah have teamed together and are partnering with MAG to build interagency technical teams around high-priority local needs. MAG is soliciting potential projects from local governments.
Project Identification Process
The attached survey is intended to cast a wide net over potential projects within the MAG region. Local governments are encouraged to coordinate internally and nominate one or two projects from their jurisdiction for consideration. Joint projects between two or more local governments may also be submitted.
Specifically, MAG is looking for:
• Innovative and/or transformative projects that would not likely happen without outside support, would not have happened as soon, or would not have happened to the same high standard.
• Game-changer or missing piece projects that would effectively remove long-standing barriers to achieving core community objectives.
