Demonstration Teachers at the UCLA Lab School are negotiating a "side letter" union contract that is site specific to our school's needs. We are dismayed at UCLA management's position that they will not bargain over the topics we have identified as critical for the success of our students.

We believe that teaching conditions are learning conditions.
