Our most pressing need--
We are committed to accepting requests from people in need (via phone, email, or a form submission) and then reaching out to connect them with resources available in our area. We do this through volunteer "Community Partners" who call people and use our resource list to get them the help they need.
Role of a Community Partner:
--You will be connected with a few community members who have asked for help.
--You will have 48 hours to reach out to the person and connect them with available resources (from a list we provide to you). If a request comes in and you're unsure how to help, you will contact our group lead for assistance.
--You will update our Volunteer Coordinator with the outcome of your calls for tracking purposes.
--To provide continuity during this time, you will be the primary contact for your assigned people for the remainder of this crisis.
