The increasing and diversifying diseases, aging population, and the challenges faced by healthcare systems are leading to a growing need for more research and academics in the field of Health Economics and Finance.

However, globally there is a significant shortage of faculty in two fundamental research areas, such as health economics and finance. Due to factors such as a limited number of postgraduate students interested in these fields and the difficulties associated with conducting research, academic institutions are experiencing a shortage of specialized faculty and researchers in the field of health economics and finance.

This situation negatively affects both health education and the development of effective health policies. The symposium aims to bring together experts and individuals interested in these fields who want to shape the research agenda on these issues.

For this purpose, a Health Economics and Finance Symposium will be held at Acibadem University from April 27 to 29 2024 in collaboration with Alabama University - Birmingham Health Management Department. To participate in the symposium, please complete the form below.
