CAFS 2023 - Reconciliation Workshop Registration
Taking place on Thursday, June 1, 2023, at 10:45 am, the "Reconciling Food Systems" workshop constitutes the CAFS Conference's third plenary session.

As described in the conference program, this workshop will create space for participants to develop a deeper understanding of reconciliation and its role in rebuilding Indigenous food systems. Participants will be invited to join brave conversations around colonization, the Indigenous worldview and their role in reconciling food systems. Indigenous food systems outreach specialist, Charlene Seward, will facilitate the session.

At the core of the workshop, 40 pre-registered participants will take part in discussion, one-to-one dialogues, and first-hand accounting of experience. The remaining participants will conduct individual exercises, hold space, and bear witness to the core activities.

To register as one of the 40 core participants, please complete the form below. Note that we will be privileging the participation of Indigenous conferenciers, as requested by our facilitator.

All participants must be registered with Congress and current members of CAFS.
