This year's conference themed, "My Voice, My Narrative" promises to be an impactful one with the goal of reaching participants from across the Northeast and beyond. Our theme focuses on the intersection of mental health, suicide prevention, united voices, disability and land access for marginalized communities. We aim to connect historically disadvantaged new growers with faith-based organizations that have unused land they can donate to survivors to turn them into foodscapes and healing gardens. This initiative will empower individuals with ALL abilities to heal through agriculture and grow food for themselves and those in need. //
La conferencia de este año con el tema "Mi voz, mi narrativa" promete ser impactante con el objetivo de llegar a participantes de todo el noreste y más allá. Nuestro tema se centra en la intersección de la salud mental, la prevención del suicidio, las voces unidas, la discapacidad y el acceso a la tierra para las comunidades marginadas. Nuestro objetivo es conectar a nuevos productores históricamente desfavorecidos con organizaciones religiosas que tienen tierras no utilizadas que pueden donar a los sobrevivientes para convertirlas en paisajes alimentarios y jardines curativos. Esta iniciativa empoderará a personas con TODAS las habilidades para sanar a través de la agricultura y cultivar alimentos para ellos y los necesitados.
