CWRU PA program will host a one day (Fri July 21, 2023)  on campus ( HEC 119) experience to inspire and educate high school students from Breakthrough Public School, who are underrepresented in medicine, on the roles, pathways, and skills used in healthcare. Students will take part in a health professions fair, with a wide variety of health professions and learn about the pathways to enter those professions. In the afternoon, students will participate in medical skills labs (x-rays, splinting, surgical knot tying, ultrasound, heart and lung sounds, and Stop the Bleed).

We will need numerous volunteers (2-3 people from each profession in the morning).
