Careers In Our Corridor-Partnership Form
Join West Virginia's STEM Learning Ecosystem and online STEM HUB as a means for generating a career pipeline for West Virginia students to enter your workforce! Nationally, the majority of college students are First Generation students, whose parents have not earned a Bachelor's degree and West Virginia ranks above national averages.
Careers in Our Corridor, historically, is an event coordinated by the Katherine Johnson NASA IV&V Education Resource Center that is similar to a career fair yet allows for organizations to also include a STEM-focused, site- specific demonstration or application of Science, Technology, Engineering, & Math (STEM). The goal is to connect our WV students with career opportunities in West Virginia, including internships- such as the high school and college internships offered at NASA.
The First2 Network's College Readiness working group also aims to enhance career exploration for STEM disciplines by connecting interested groups with classrooms for virtual talks, demonstrations, and interviews.
Please complete only if you are interested in having your information shared online with WV teachers. To be a partner of this effort there is no limitation on the # or types of involvement you want to share, so only check what options you'd like to have shared publicly.
Note: If you are a College/University/School that wants to share a STEM pathway/program, then you are also encouraged to complete this form. It will be assumed that any box you check will be specific to your program.
*There is an additional notes section at the end to explain or include links to existing websites*
