Summer Reading Registration 2024
Sign up HERE for Fort Scott Public Library's Summer Reading Program for Birth - 12th grade! This year's summer reading program will run from June 5 - August 7. Kick off on June 5 with an Adventure Party 10-11:30 am at Gunn Park Shelter House #3 (all ages kickoff party) or at the Choose Your Adventure Teen Kickoff Party on June 5, 4-5:30 pm at Riverfront Park (4th-12th grades kickoff party).

Click Here to link to our Google Calendar for this year's program. In-person kids' meetings will be held on Tuesdays at 10 am, online on Thursdays at 1 pm (pre-recorded), and teen programs on Wednesdays at 4 pm.

Storytelling videos will post on YouTube and Facebook, with guest readers in addition to Miss Val. We'll include craft instructions with the craft kits for virtual participants this year, instead of craft videos. 

Performances:  Musician Alan Cunningham, June 11 @ 10 at Winfield Scott Elementary, Jay & Leslie's Library Escapades, July 2 @ 10, and Storyteller Will Stuck July 31 @ 10, at Memorial Hall. All dates & plans are subject to change with little to no notice, dependent on current local health & weather conditions.
